Introduction

The DW8700 charge pump can drive white LEDs related in camera strobes with regulated current up to 200mA.
The DW8700 use external resistor to set the LED current. The DW8700 also provide a fixed 5.0V and adjustable output voltage under normal battery voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. Built-in soft-start circuitry protects excessive inrush current during start-up.
Thermal shutdown, current-limit, and short circuit protection circuitry in included.

High switching frequency reduces size of tiny ceramic capacitors and ripple of output voltage. In power-down, the loads is disconnected from the input and the quiescent current is reduced to under 1uA.The DW8700 are available in a 8-lead 2mm×2mm, 0.5mm thickness UDFN package.
