Introduction

USB Transceiver IC, DP1681A or 1682A is an unique chip for the mobile phones. Multi-function mobile phones, which are leading the fashion, employ USB port for data transmission. The existing RS-232 port, UART is not suitable for the transmission of high-volume data such as image or video because of its low transmission rate, 1.5M bps. On the other hand, USB port can afford to transmit data at 12M bps. The high efficiency for large volume data transmission is a must for multi-function mobile phones. USB Transceiver IC shows its optimal performance for mobile phones, and is applicable to Digital Still Camera, PDA, USB Modem, and so on.
