Introduction

The ID9700/1L is a 1-CH VCM driver with chip enable/disable function for cellular phone camera. When disabled, it only drains a few tens of nano amperes from supply.

when the power supply is applied, the on-chip power-on controller disables the drive of the power transistor. This feature eliminates the mal-function at the power-on mode that the power transistor becomes on and hence VCM is sufficiently driven, even the input is zero. Irrespective of the input states, the power transistor remains off state, if the chip is disabled. thus, the chip enable and power-on control function of ID9700/1L improves the noise immunity against the initial power-on noise.

The external freewheeling diode is not necessary, since it is implemented internally. The ID9700/1L is suitable for the auto focus actuator of the cellular phone camera.
